Mr. Nicklaus supervises Campeche Playa Golf Course

Jack Nicklaus PhotoIn a brief visit to the entity, the famous ex-golfer Jack Nicklaus supervised the golf course of the mega-tourist complex Campeche Playa Golf Marina & SPA Resort, in the municipality of Champotón, where he checked the golf course progress.

After his arrival to Campeche, the famous ex-player and golf courses designer toured all the tourist complex with the purpose of supervising the progress in the golf course construction.

In a press release carried out in that place, Nicklaus stated that he was very surprised with the progress done until now. Since a year and a half ago progress are being made very quickly. Despite the economy collapsed in the entire world, Campeche Playa keeps progressing, he said.

With the help of Grupo Mall, we will reach the goal that had been set. “When I arrived to the place I was very satisfied since I couldn’t have chosen a better place than Campeche to build a golf course”, he pointed out.

As it has been informed, the golf course will have an irrigation system that will feed only on rainwater and on water from a sewage treatment plant that has been created for that purpose; the golf course maintenance and fertilization will be done exclusively with organic products, completely eliminating fertilizers, pesticides and chemical herbicides.

It will be the first ecological golf course in Latin America thanks to the fact that it is being developed keeping the natural drain of the land. Likewise, he said that the golf course is in good hands.

With regard to the main features, it stands out its length of 7,372 yards from the tees; 6,700 yards from the intermediate tees, and 5,000 yards from the ladies tees.

On the other hand, Julio Noval García said that Campeche is in contact with important companies that will strongly increase the tourism. Until now they have sold condominiums to customers of more than 23 different nationalities and more than 2 millions of dollars have been invested.
